In celebration of Language Month, Pelangi Eka Nusa visited SD Al Azhar Syifa Budi Talaga Bestari with the theme Explore the Magic of Language. The cheerful, leafy school turned into a shared learning space where teachers, students, and volunteers came together to experience the joy of reading. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was warm and alive, as if every spoken word opened a door to an endless world of imagination.
For teachers and educators, Pelangi Eka Nusa held a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Read Aloud. In this session, they learned that reading aloud is more than just pronouncing words; it’s about bringing stories to life through emotion, expression, and connection. Page by page, stories unfolded with renewed enthusiasm, as if each tale was an invitation to fall in love with language all over again.
Meanwhile, the children were immersed in a joyful Read Aloud activity filled with laughter and wonder. Their eyes sparkled as they followed the stories, their hands eagerly raised to answer questions, and their hearts were filled with a delightful curiosity. By the end of the day, the classroom felt transformed to be more alive, more heartfelt because words had become bridges connecting readers, listeners, and the magical worlds they built together.
