Beneath the shade of trees along the Ciliwung River, the morning was filled with laughter and color. The winners of Jakarta area #MaybankersBerGERAK Step Challenge 2025 came to Teras Ciliwung not only bringing donations but also the spirit of togetherness. They handed over two sets of children’s tables and chairs, five benches, a whiteboard with a stand, two footballs, and a guitar, all of which will now support the children’s learning and play activities there.
Yet, the heart of this visit was not just the handover, but the precious moments shared with the children. The Maybankers invited them to play a financial board game: Ular Tangga Keuangan (Financial Snakes and Ladders), a fun way to learn about managing money wisely. Laughter and excitement filled the air as each move on the board became a symbol of steps toward knowledge and independence.
After the games, they shared stories and experiences, deepening a bond that was simple yet full of meaning. The children were filled with joy, while the Maybankers rediscovered the true essence of movement and giving through the smiles that greeted them. From the banks of Ciliwung, this activity reminds us that the most meaningful movement is not just a physical step, but a heartfelt one that nurtures shared hope.
